Toni Putnam’s paintings in encaustic exist as much in three as in two dimensions. With the image and the framing device become virtually indistinguishable, Putnam’s tactile paintings betray her international reputation as a sculptor. She is a graduate of the University of Rochester and a Fellow of the National Sculpture Society.
