Received his BFA from State University college at Buffalo, NY as well as attending Universita di Siena, Italy and Scoula delArte for studies in Sculpture, Painting and Art History. Sottile's sculpture has been selected for many juried exhibitions. Most recently, two pieces were accepted for the National Sculpture Society show entitled "The Dance" in New York City. He has worked for Wendell Castle, Inc. for twenty years as well as completing many public and private commissions including a larger-than-life size cast bronze of Abraham Lincoln and Grace Bedell for Westfield, NY.
