Born in West Newbury, MA, July 24, 1844.
 
Studied with B. C. Porter and with Emile Lambinet in Paris. Worked in Europe in 1867 and in the 1880’s.
 
Member: National Academy of Design; NY Water Color Club; Society of American Artists (1892).
 
Exhibited: National Academy of Design, 1875-1900; Boston Museum of Fine Art; Columbian Expo. Chicago, 1893.
