Born in Utica, NY. Known for painting Oriental subjects and southern landscapes mostly in an Impressionist style. Studied in London, Paris, and Rome. Exhibited: Boston Art Club in 1896 and Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in 1912. In the collection of: Newark Museum; Arnot Museum; Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art; and Springville Museum of Art. Died in Detroit, Michigan. |
